When Justin Klabin envisioned new product concepts, he asked himself how he could combine his passions of conservation and wellness, with his experience in product design. His solution was Klabin Design, a company that has less impact on our environment while making smart, beautifully designed products.
He wanted to raise awareness about serious issues like global warming and habitat destruction. After all, no snow means no skiing. Polluted water means dangerous swimming and surfing. Exhaust-choked air and demolished green space means that our best trail runs, weekend road rides, and backpacking trips are the ones that are already in the photo albums. As an athlete and environmentalist, Justin uses his knowledge to put forth his vision. Justin studied environmental design, environmental science, and exercise physiology at the graduate level earning his master's degree.
Our apparel and accessories are manufactured from organic cotton and designed to be sustainable and comfortable. Our personal care products are rigorously formulated and laboratory-tested to do exactly what our labels promise, and they use only top-quality ingredients and materials that are safe for you and for the earth- we should know, we make them. Best of all, at least 1% of our gross sales go back to conservancy efforts around the globe which benefits all of us.
"Part of living Green is about raising awareness of how our activities impact the natural environment. Using our products and wearing the 63-North label means you respect the Earth and our fragile environment so that it’s there for all of us the next time we grab our boards, skis, bikes, or backpacks. Whether we are in New York or New Mexico, we are all in it together."
